What is UGLAW?
UGLAW refers to the Panjab University entrance examination for admission to the B.A./B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) 5-Year Integrated Course.
The programme is intended for students who have completed or are completing their 10+2 examination and wish to enter the field of legal education without first completing a separate undergraduate degree.
For the 2026 admission cycle, the entrance examination was conducted for admission to the integrated law courses at:
University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh
University Institute of Laws (UIL), Ludhiana
University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre (PUSSGRC), Hoshiarpur
UGLAW Courses
UGLAW is associated with two five-year integrated law programmes:
1. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) – 5 Years Integrated Course-300 Seats (180 Seats in Chandigarh and 60 Seats each at Regional Centres)
This programme combines undergraduate-level humanities education with professional legal education.
2. B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) – 5 Years Integrated Course-180 Seats ( Only at Chandigarh)
This programme combines commerce-oriented education with legal education and can be particularly relevant to students interested in areas involving business, taxation, corporate activity and commercial law.
