 Value of Short Breaks

Generally ,we tend to presume that more number of hours we sit continuously the more results we will gain in the academic field ,but it is not always true. Short breaks after 20-30 minutes of study have many benefits. These benefits are as follows :-

I. These breaks allows the brain to take some rest . This leads to faster processing of thinking process.

II. The mental work becomes less tiresome.

III. The work is divided into smaller units . These smaller units put lesser burden on our mind.

IV. We can soothe our brain with music or coffee within these breaks.

V. You reward yourself in form of a break after doing the tiresome work.

 

Caution : Don’t let the break grow bigger than 5 to 10 minutes.
